Research Abstract |
A systematic study on the wavelength measurements has been performed for Ti-like highly charged ions. Wavelengths have been determined for the magnetic dipole transitions between the fine structure levels of (3dィイD14ィエD1) ィイD15ィエD1Dj(j=2-3) in Ti-like ions of Sb, I, Xe, Cs, Ba, Sm, Eu, Hf, Ta, W, Re and Pt. These wavelengths remain anomalously in the visible region for all ions investigated and are in good agreement with our theoretical calculations.
