Research Abstract |
The dinuclear transition-metal dicarboxylates (Cu(II), Mo(II), Ru(II,III) ) reversibly occlude a large amount of gases such as N_2, 0_2, Ar, and CH_4. It was concluded that the gas molecules are occluded in uniform micropores constracted by transition-metal complexes. The complexes are useful adsorbent for storing gases, and may be useful catalyst for chemical reactions.
