Research Abstract

This study based on practical observations of volunteer activities by non-attendance-at-school children.
Our activity has two purposes. The first is to carry forward social participation with non-attendance-at-school children. The second is to forward their consciousness and behavior's change through these activities.
Seven times, nine times, the activity went 16 times all together in 1998, in 1999. In 1998, 55 volunteers, 100 staff members participated with 276 child pupils in all. In 1999, 315 children pupils, and 68 volunteers, 106 staff members participated.
The findings we made through this study :
(1) They could participate, to be enough to do various activities.
(2) They can participate in the various activities, but it is possible to say that it is difficult to continue it.
(3) The living experiences (cooking, sports with disabilities etc.) was like an effect to change their consciousness and behavior.
