Research Abstract |
Yogo-Kunren is included in the curriculum of special education in Japan. Proper instruction on Yogo-Kunren should be given not only in the hours for Yogo-Kunren education, but also in the hours for each Subject and other educational activities. Therefore, teachers of special school feel a great interest in the instruction on Yogo-Kunren and in the preparation of Individualized Teaching Programme. The present study focuses on theoretical issues of Individualized Teaching Programme such as teacher decision-making. It should be clear to parents for how teachers make diagnostic evaluations. In the process of preparing Individualized Teaching Programme, consideration should be given to the following points : (1) group thinking based on impartial imformations (2) group decision-making in order to avoid an arbitrary decision (3) appropriate group size to make a decision effectively (4) close relation with planning lessons and the teaching-learning process
