Research Abstract |
This research project consists of the following points. 1. Research on the books and magazines about the treatments of the Tohoku district in the formative period of modern Japan. 2. Making of the database about the above books and magazines. 3. Analysis about the treatments of the Tohoku district in the formative period of modern Japan. (1) The fixed image of the Tohoku district which is backward and stagnant spread in the late of the Meiji era. (2)Such image has influenced the historical research of the Tohoku district in the historical studies after WWII.
