Research Abstract |
This research has two aims. The first is the empirical analysis of overseas trainees sponsored by local governments. The plan of the research was as follows : First, surveying institutional system ; second, interviewing ; lastly, follow-up study of trainees in their home country. In fact, only the first and second plans have been realized. We found that this system has a merit in that the personal relationship during the internship sometimes supports the trainees after returning to their home country. Some troubles due to mismatching between trainees and their host have been reported, but this is often found in the internship in private companies. We have also proposed a new statistical analysis of vague answers in questionnaires. In this test the null hypothesis is the ordered probit model and the alternative hypothesis is the multinomial probit model. Unfortunately, we have given up the use of this test to our empirical analysis of overseas trainees for lack of sample size, and applied it to the ratings of corporate bonds.
