Research Abstract |
I, the head investigator of our project "Studies on differential equations in the quantum mechanics", participated in many symposia or workshops held in the period from April, 1999 to March, 2000 such as "Fourth Workshop on Differential Equations" (Kwangju, Korea) (7/26-7/31) "The summer symposium on operator theory" (Hakodate) (8/27-8/30) "Okayama symposium on linear and nonlinear partial differential equations" (Okayama) (10/9-10/11) "the symposium on differential equations" (Tokyo) (12/21-12/26) "Sendai symposium on partial differential equations" (Sendai) (1/30-2/2). And I received many informations related to our project from there. In the "Fourth Workshop on Differential Equations" held at Chonnam national university, Kwangju, Korea, I gave a lecture titled "Simple Construction of the Schrodinger Operators having many positive eigenvalues". In this symposium, I got a new information on the limiting absorption principle associated to the Schrodinger operators with Neumann-Wigner potentials. In the symposia in which I participated, I also obtained new results on the unique continuation theorem which is connected with the non-existence of the positive eigenvalues of the Schrodinger operators. I am interested in this problem. All other investigators associated to our project partipated to many symposia respectively, and recognized the problems which are related in the differential equations in quantum mechanics. Their results are reported in the "Reports of research project, grant-in-aid for scientific research, the differential equations in the quantum mechanics".
