Research Abstract |
(1) Simulation of Welding Deformation "ANSYS", general-purpose FEM program of thermal analysis, was introduced for a EWS and the method to simulate the heat deformation and residual stress due to welding has been established. (Paper no.1,2,3,6,10,11,12,13,14,16, and 17) (2) Simulation of Straightening The simulation method to straighten the deformed plate due to welding has been established by non-linear finite element analysis using "ANSYS", for both line heating and point heating. Furthermore, the correction method using a press roller has been analyzed and the necessary press load for the correction has been proposed for the machine system. (Paper no. 2,6,12,15, and 19) (3) Development of Accurate Measurement System Shape measurements of a hull block using a digital camera on the market were carried out, combined with 3 dimensional shape analysis software, and the measurement accuracy has been confirmed. It was understood that a further study is necessary to obtain a practical accuracy. (not published) (4) Positioning Simulation of Blocks "AI" methods such as neural network and genetic algorithm were applied to optimize the positioning of the hull blocks at the erection stage. Furthermore, the deformation of hull structure on the building dock has been simulated using a finite element analysis. (Paper no. 4,7,9, and 14) (5) Work Simulation using Human Model "JACK", general-purpose computer simulation software of a human model, was introduced, and shipbuilding works are analyzed, focused on the body loads of the workers. (Paper no. 5,8,14, and 18)
