Research Abstract |
The purposes of this research are the following : 1. Development of the comprehensive learning programme. 2. Reconsideration of the importance of learning about the social problems in the world today. 3.Construction of social studies teaching to bring up self-education ability. 4. Consideration of the significance of the Kfafki's plan of "Schlusselprobleme" (key problems). The significances of the comprehensive learning centered on the social problems in the world today are the following : 1.The social problems are contents of education for the development of children's ability of self determination. co-determination and solidarity. 2. The comprehensive learning motivates the children to learn. 3. It is a core of curriculum integration.
