Research Abstract

リーマン面のモジュライ空間の算術的な基本群,それは写像類群を副有限完備化したものによる有理数体の絶対ガロア群のある拡大となる.一方,写像類群を近似するある次数付きLie代数から,曲面の基本群のMalcev完備化の微分で,シンプレクティック元を消すようなもの全体のつくる次数付きLie代数(以後h(g)と書く)への,Johnson準同型と呼ばれる自然な射がある.上記算術的な基本群の幾何的な部分と数論的な部分は,それぞれ(位相的な)Johnson準同型の像と余核に現われることがわかっている.本研究はこれら両者の関係をトポロジーの立場から解明することを目指している.本年に実行した研究を具体的に記すと,つぎのようになる.
1.Lie代数h(g)のコホモロジー群の元を大量に定義し,これらとh(g)のSp-不変な部分加群,およびKontsevichのある定理を経由して,自由群の外部自己同型群のホモロジー群の元との関連の本格的な研究に着手した.これらは,Galois元の平方根となることが予想されるものである.
2.トレリ群の構造と絶対ガロア群の外表現との関連について,整数論および位相幾何学の双方の立場からの研究をさらに積み重ねた.
本研究は極めて深く大きな課題であるため,全容の解明にはなお多くの年月を要すると思われるが,今後も着実な成果をあげていきたい.
