Research Abstract

1)プラズモニック・フォノニック結晶のイメージング
プラズモニック・フォノニック結晶の振動マッピングのデモンストレーションを発表した。
2)異常光透過のGHz周波数帯における変調
ガラス基板上の厚み40nmの金薄膜に、サイズ240nmの四角形の穴を780nm周期で正方格子状にあけた試料を用いた。固定波長のポンプ光と波長可変のプローブ光を試料上の固定点に集光し、構造の集団的な振動によるGHz領域のいくつかの共振を観測した。これらの共振の振動数や減衰を時間領域有限要素法の音響シミュレーションを使って特定した。また、この音響シミュレーションの結果を、フーリエモード法に基づく光学シミュレーションに組み入れ、その結果と実験データを比較した。プラズモン共鳴がどの程度関連するのかについては、更なる研究が必要となる。
3)プラズモニック・ナノ導波路におけるプラズモンの変調
この研究は、アムステルダムのAMOLFに製作依頼していたナノ導波路試料の到着が遅れたために2012年12月に開始した。このナノ導波路は500nm×120nm×120nmの金でできている。このナノ導波路に超短プローブ光を出し入れするような結合条件を見つけ、ポンプ光によりレーザー誘起グレーティングを作って、光変調するシステムを現在作成している。
4)フォノニック結晶導波路の広帯域k空間時間イメージング
直径6ミクロンの穴がミクロンスケールで格子状に並べられたフォノニック結晶中の直線やL字型の導波路におけるフォノニック固有状態をk空間(すなわち波数空間)時間領域でイメージングした。
