Research Abstract

昨年度までは鉄系超伝導体の中で11系(PbO型)と呼ばれる材料に着目して研究を行ってきた。FeSe(.超伝導転移温度T_c~10K)に代表される11系は鉄系超伝導体の中で唯一Asを含まない材料であり、機能性材料として有望な材料であるが、T_cの低いことが課題であった。ところが2010年12月、FeSeの層間にKをインターカレートしたK_xFe_<2-y>Se_2超伝導体が発見され、T_cは~30Kまで向上した。その単結晶は、一般的にはself-flux法やBridgeman法といった数日間を要する育成法によって得られているが、我々は短時間かつ容易に高品質なK_xFe_<2-y>Se_2単結晶が得られるOne-step合成法を新たに見出した。一方、銅酸化物超伝導体とは異なり、鉄系超伝導体はisovalent置換でも超伝導が発現及び向上する。しかし、これまでK_xFe<2-y>Se_2単結晶のSeの一部をTeで置換したK_xFe2<2-y>Se_<2-z>Te_z単結晶に関する超伝導特性は報告されていない。これは、これまでの育成法が複雑で育成に長時間を要するためK_xFe<2-y>Se_<2-z>Te_zを得ることが困難であったためと考えられる。そこで、我々はOne-step合成法を用いて、K_xFe_<2-y>Se_<2.-y>Te_z結晶の育成に取り組んだ。K_xFe_<2-y>Se_<2-z>Te_zのT_cはT^<onset>_c=32.9K,T^<zero>_c=32.1K(z=O)から、Te置換量増加に伴い、徐々にT^<onset>_c=27.9K,T^<zero>_c=16.7K(z=05)まで低下し、z=0.6で超伝導は消失した。これらの結果からK_xFe_<2-y>Se_2超伝導体においては、Te置換は超伝導を抑制することがわかった。
