Research Abstract

コロイド結晶の電気光学効果でレーザ光源を用いると電気光学特性が格段に向上することを明らかにした。コロイド結晶が内部蛍光を閉込める効果を直接観察することに予備的に成功した。また乾燥散逸構造における溶質によらない共通なパターンと個性的なパターンを区別することが可能になった。またコロイド結晶やコロイド合金の粘弾性測定と反射スペクトル測定を同時に行うことによりマクロな特性とミクロな特性との相関性を解析した。更に、高分子イオン・コロイド交互多層錯体形成におけるpHの影響を明らかにするとともに、動的光散乱測定から新しいシンクロナス性を見出した。具体的には、1)コロイド結晶の電気光学効果をレーザ光源を用いて調査した。レーザ光源を用いると白色光源に比べてはるかに感度が高く、高調波特性を制御できることが判明した。コロイダルシリカ粒子と感温性ゲルの脱塩系水分散液を用いることにより、感温性コロイド結晶が得られた。コロイド粒子-ゲル粒子間のシンクロナス効果が重要であることが判明した。またコロイド結晶における電気ポテンシャル測定を行った。2)各種コロイド分散液及び低分子・高分子電解質溶液の乾燥散逸構造を調査した。球形粒子、異方形粒子、各種界面活性剤、高分子電解質、そして蛍光性色素を用いた。分散液、溶液系全般に共通なパターンと、溶質に特有なパターンとに分類することに成功した。3)種々の超脱塩系コロイド粒子水分散液のレオロジー特性を調査した。コロイド結晶及びコロイド合金は降伏挙動を示し、添加塩によって融解し粘度・弾性率が急激に減少した。ミクロなコロイド結晶の構造変化とマクロなレオロジー特性とのシンクロナスな相関性を明らかにした。4)コロイダルシリカ粒子へのシンクロナスな高分子イオンの交互多層吸着形成に及ぼすpHの影響を調査した。更に動的光散乱測定によりコロイド・高分子イオン交互多層錯体の特性を調査した。
