Research Abstract

本計画研究課題(2-1)「性能基盤型設計法の開発」の一環として1999年度〜2002年度に第1回〜第4回の日米ワークショップに開催してきた.本年度も、共同研究のためのワークショップ(鉄筋コンクリート造建築物の性能基盤型設計法に関する第5回日米ワークショップ、The Fifth US-Japan Workshop on Performance-Based Earthquake Engineering Methodology for Reinforced Concrete Building Structures)を2003年9月9日(火)〜9月11日(木)まで神奈川県箱根で開催した。鉄筋コンクリート建物の性能基盤型設計法の開発を主題にして、最新の研究成果を論文として発表するとともに情報交換が行われた。参加者は、日米代表者間の調整により共同研究の実施者を主体にして合計30名の研究者である。日本側では同研究課題に登録された研究分担者および研究協力者以外に数名の方々にも参加を依頼した。鉄筋コンクリート建物応答の性質、部材の挙動、新しい解析モデル化手法等に関して最新の知見が交換され、これらにより,既存建物の耐震診断・耐震補強,あるいは新築建物の性能評価型設計に関する基礎的情報が得られた。また、本研究の予算により、以下の2種類のテーマで鉄筋コンクリート部材に関する実験を行った。(1)鉄筋コンクリート造異形断面柱の性能評価(新潟大学、加藤大介)、(2)鉄筋コンクリート柱の損傷評価に関する研究(東北大学、前田匡樹)。ワークショップ論文(英文)は再編集して論文集として出版するとともに,5年間の成果のまとめとして,本研究課題により開発された鉄筋コンクリート建物の性能基盤型設計法に関する評価手法,耐震診断・耐震補強手法を指針の規定等に適用可能な形で英文の最終報告書として整理した.
