Research Abstract

メタ配位子であるピリミジン(PM)とV(IV)Oとの錯体の構造を磁性を調べた。その結果、V(IV)の磁性軌道であるt_<2g>とPMのπ軌道との共役により、スピン分極機構でメタ位のV(IV)スピン間に強磁性的相互作用が働くことがわかった。4位にニトロニルニトロキシドを結合させたPMとCuX_2(X=Cl,Br)との錯体は6角形の6量体を形成し、直径11Å程度の空洞を作る。この空洞に種々の分子を導入すると、水素結合により空洞方向の強磁性的相互作用が強まることを見つけた。4,6-ジメチルPMとCuBr_2との錯体ではらせん構造が形成され、単結晶ではキラルな構造を示す。磁性は1次元反強磁性鎖モデルで解析できる。PM誘導体やピラジン誘導体とMn(II), Co(II), Ni(II)との錯体の構造と磁性の関係を調べた。これらの系ではσ結合を介した反強磁性的相互作用とπ結合を介した強磁性的相互作用が共存し、後者の寄与のほうが大きかった。PM-M[N(CN)_2]_2-G型錯体(M=Fe(II), Co(II) ; G=各種脂肪族アルコール)は、10K以下で弱強磁性体転移を示した。最小のラジカル配位子であるイミノニトロキシド(IN)とCu(II), Cd(II)との錯体の合成に成功し、磁性と構造との関係を調べた。Cd錯体は2量化により700K以上の強い反強磁性的相互作用を示した。TEMPO系有機ラジカル強磁性体のμSR,比熱測定から磁気的相互作用を明らかにした。スピロ結合で結ばれたアクリジンジニトロキシドの合成に成功し、構造と磁性を調べた。メタ位にINを有するジラジカル分子の基底状態は、第3の置換基の種類によって1重項にも3重項にもなりうることを見つけた。導電性錯体を与える新規ドナー分子を目指して、分子内に酸素とセレンを有するフルバレン誘導体の合成に成功した。
