Research Abstract

純有機反強磁性超伝導体或いは純有機強磁性伝導体を得るために、次のような種々の合成と、測定を試みた。
1)分子内に正の電荷を有する種々の新規フェルダジルラジカルを合成し、TCNQ、Me_2TCNQ、Cl_2TCNQ、DDQ等の電子受容体との(1:1)及び(1:2)塩を作成した。その磁化率、ESR、伝導度の測定と、結晶構造解析結果から、4種の(1:2)TCNQ塩が純有機磁気半導体であることを見出した。低温での比熱測定を行ない、反強磁性への転移を見出すことを試みた。しかしながら、TCNQ分子間のスピン間反強磁性相互作用が大きいため、低温でその磁性が消えてしまい、反強磁性転移を見出すに至らなかった。現在、分子間の相互作用を小さくするため、Me_2TCNQやCl_2TCNQとの塩について詳細な研究を進めている。
2)1)と同様、分子内に正の電荷を有するフェルダジルラジカルとNi(dmit)_2等の塩を合成した。(1:3)塩は何れも磁気半導体としての性質を示した。今後、加圧下での伝導度の測定を行い、超伝導への転移を見出すことを試みる。
3)分子内に負の電荷を有する種々の新規フェルダジルラジカルを合成し、TTF、BEDT-TTF、BETS、等の電子供与体との塩を作成し、磁気伝導体の開発を試みている。現在までに、カルボキシル基を有する数種のラジカルの合成に成功している。
