Research Abstract |
In this research, we investigated the history of movable type and publishing technologies, especially in east Asia and Japan. Based on these surveys of history of publishing industries, we proposed new digital processing schemes for coded character sets and digital document processing standards including ISO and JIS. . Based on the same historical consideration, we also responds to HYOUGAI KANJI JITAI HYOU SHIAN (Standard Glyphs for KANJI) public comments request from Japanese Language Council.
