Research Abstract |
The questionnaire and survey investigation about indoor temperature, humidity and air quality for the detached houses of the main city of Tohoku area were conducted. Consequently, in a summer, it turns out to feeling of indoor air, relative humidity, and formaldehyde concentration that the factor about the attribute of a residence, plant existence, and the existence of medicine has influenced greatly. Moreover, the influence of a ventilation system and operation time was clearly seen. In winter, more occupants feel dryness than summer. In the 60 % of houses, relative humidity is below 40 %RH. The houses with local space heater are higher in relative humidity than those with central heating system, and the houses heated intermittently are higher than those heated all day.
