Research Abstract |
A purpose of this research is to develop a system that anyone can visually search a necessary data from NOAA Image Database opened to the public on the Internet and immediately can analyze it with. The result is opened to the public as "Remote Sensing Data Analysis Support System" in a homepage of Obata laboratory(Sendai National College of Technology), at present.(http : //admiral.info.sendai-ct.ac.jp/obata-lab/RESDAS/index.html/) A characteristics of this system gets following. Consequently, a purpose in the early time enough was achieved. 1. Users can search a necessary data from NOAA Image Database and immediately can analyze it with Web browser(Netscape and IE). 2. As this system is designed and developed by Java object oriented, an action environment doesn't depend on a machine and OS. 3. Users can use NOAA Image Database that quite character differs from and can analyze it with no to hurt the characteristic. 4. Users can access to a geographical information database at real time during an analysis of a satellite image data and can display a beach line, prefecture boundary, contour on the satellite image data. And users can obtain information of a land utilization and a height above sea level to be necessary. 5. As an application version of this system also is opened to the public users can preserve a result of image processing for a file, if users use it as downloading that. 6. As an application version is developed by object oriented, users easily can include a unique analytic algorithm into the downloaded system.
