Research Abstract |
The main purpose of this study is analyzing the varied patterns of violence to clear how Bushi grew in Sekkan and Insei era, covering Heian period. We have nearly accomplished it. At first, we conceived of the establishment of Bushi and Guntou, the radical militia groups by going through the variety of violence in Sekkan era. The next problem is to define the characteristic features of violence by Bushi. On the other hand, we checked up the growth process of Bushi in Sekkan and Insei era, especially focusing our study on the Kenmon and Bushi regime in Insei era. And yet, we have to investigate the staged establishment in Insei era and Kamakura period. What was more, bringing the period from Yayoi to Kamakura into view, we examined the speciality of violence in Heian period to make it clear. In consequence, we found the great features ; the aspect of "peace and war" in Nara period. This point remains to be done.
