Research Abstract |
I worked the following to throw an objective light on state- regulated prostitution in Japanese modern times (1) gathering historical records of geisha and prostitute in the Edo period, and Meiji Taisho Showa petiod (2) gathering historical records of Thonson's Comission (which is a report thereupon poor children and women in Asia) (3) analizing a measure to counter Japanese government (especially the Ministry of Home Aftairs)
