Research Abstract

The work that carried out in 1999 as follows.
1. Searching YASUI, TAKUMA's personal manuscript on the totaled 2,241 collection of Japanese and western book.
2. Completing the Database of all the documents of 3,243 materials including 655 posthumous manuscript, 1,771 books with no manuscript, YASUI, TAKUMA's 80 works, and some documents or memo, which has a searching function.
3. Recording all the study notebook, letters, books, and newspaper articles among 655 posthumous manuscript above, and being kept in the storage of safekeeping that kept an automatic control device of temperature / humidity.
4. Holding a memory lecture for establishing "Yasui Library" on September 25,1999.
In 2000, enforced the following work.
1. Renewing the database with newly arrival 398 books and documents. Then total collection of "Yasui Library" became 3,641 materials.
2. Making of a study result report
As a result, the remaining work might be as follows.
1. Microfilming the remaining valuable materials.
2. Studying YASUI, TAKUMA's manuscript on the books, notebooks and letters.
