Research Abstract |
We have obtained (1) New results on the particle acceleration processes In the magnetotail (2) New results on the origin of O+ and He+ Ions In the magnetotail (3) New results on the heating/acceleration processes at the terrestrial bow shock, through which the solar wind plasma is processed before the entrance to the magnetosphere. (4) New results on the pickup interstellar Helium ions, whose energy density can be comparable to the thermal energy density of solar wind plasma
