Research Abstract |
The results of the study are as follows : 1. Using the combined sequence of rbcL and the spacer between trnL and trnF to generate the first molecular phylogeny of Impatiens. 2. Morphological diversification of the inflorescence correlates with the tree partly. However that of the lower sepal, which is a significant characters used in the classification at the species level, does not clearly correlate with the tree. 3. The tree is strongly correlated with chromosome numbers. 4. These results were (or will be) published.
