Research Abstract |
The cancer keeps the first of cause of death still, and people fear it. The most large cause of their fear is the metastasis of the cancer. There are still no therapy and drug which prevent the metastasis of the cancer. Whether radiotherapy and hyperthermia of topical treatment of the cancer promote the metastasis of the cancer is an important problem. It was to not consider that the metastasis was promoted by the irradiation and/or hyperthermia. However, it was to often experience. Metastasis and invasion of the cancer derived from human after the irradiation and/or hyperthermia treatment were examined in vitro and in vivo (using the tumor-transplanted nude mouse) from cellular fibrinolysis of the cancer, and these clinical indexes were studied. Cellular fibrinolysis of AOI tumor cells derived from human lung cancer and OST tumor cells derived from human osteosarcoma was increased by irradiation, and U87MG tumor cells derived from human glioblastoma was increased by hyperthermia treatment. Metastasis of AOI tumor cells and OST tumor cells transplanted nude mice was promoted by irradiation. Metastasis of U87MG transplanted nude mice was promoted by hyperthermia treatment. From the result of mRNA expression and production quantity of cellular fibrinolysis and metastasis of transplanted nude mouse, the possibility of promoting transposition, invasion and recurrence of the human tumor of the high transposable of some tumors was demonstrated by irradiation and/or hyperthermia treatment. It became clear that the expression of cellular fibrinolytic factors of the tumor cell became an index of mutasion, invasion and recurrence of the cancer after radiotherapy and hyperthermia treatment.
