Research Abstract |
THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH WAS TO EXPLORE THE WOMEN'S BODY AND THEIR SPORTING CULTURES AS RELATED TO THE ACCULTURATION OF THE NATIVE WOMEN IN NORTH AMERICA AND THE MUSLIM WOMEN IN THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN. FROM THE DIACHRONIC AND SYNCHRONIC PERSPECTIVES, THE SPECIFIC AND UNIQUE NATURE OF THEIR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WAS INQUIRED AS RELATIVE MODELS IN COMPARISON WITH THE MAINSTREAM OF THE CONTEMPORARY-INTERNATIONAL SPORTING CULTURES. FOR THE FIRST YEAR, THE NATURE, VALUE AND THE THOUGHT IN BODY FOR THE WOMEN'S SPORTING CULTURES WERE ANALYZED BASED ON THE LITERATURE STUDIES. IN THE NEXT YEAR, SOME FIELD-WORKS SUCH AS FESTIVALS OF THE TRADITIONAL SPORTING & DANCING FOR THE NATIVE AMERICANS AND THE CONTEMPORARY SPORTING GAMES FOR THE ISLAMIC WOMEN WERE INVESTIGATED UNDER SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES AS BODY PERSPECTIVES, LIFESTYLES, THE SOCIAL FUNCTIONS AND THE ACCULTURATION IN WOMEN'S SPORTS, RESPECTIVELY. FOR THE FURTHER RESEARCH, THE DIVERSE VIEWPOINTS OF THE BODY & SPORT FOR THE WOMEN NEED TO BE MORE FULLY DEVELOPED TO SEEK THE UNIQUE AND INHERENT NATURE OF THE HUMAN MOVEMENT.
