Research Abstract |
・Data Input To collect the contents, Manyo-Shu data, of the searching system, we at first investigate the basic literatures and specify the books whose data have to be inputted, such as the hand-transcribed books like Nishihonganji, the texts of Edo-Period annotated books like Manyodaishoki, and recent annoted books and revised edition books that are of Kundoku, Manyo-Shu-Zen-Chushaku and Shakuchu. For all these books, we do the correction and the accuracy analysis of the data. ・ Semistructured database management system At first, we have examined other similar searching systems. Subsequently, we have implemented a searching system for Manyo-Shu. The system is implemented by using PostgreSQL that is an Object Relational Database Management System. In this system, all the poems are stored by parsing them into WAKA, subject and side notes, and further the WAKAs are stored by parsing into phrases. To store all the notes, we classified them into two kinds of notes : total note and partial note. Moreover we have evaluated the performance of this system by carrying out some practical searchings and measuring the searching times. A searching time of a simple query was around 10 seconds. From is results, is has been clear that our searching system was sufficiently practical. ・ We have done the research of developing cryptography in order to protect the semistructured database being developing. Based on net theory, we have discussed a new contrivance of public-key cryptography including its generation methods of encryption and decryption keys. Further we have done theoretical analysis of the new contrivance on security and computation time by comparing with the well-known cryptography : RSA and PGP. As the result, the new contrivance of public-key cryptography possess stronger security than RSA and PGP, and also more efficient encryption and decryption capability than RSA.
