Research Abstract

我々は,クラスター化法及びクラスター化の結果を評価する基準として"space distortion","monotonicity"に着目した指標をYadohisa,Takeuchi and Inada(1999)で提案している.また,それらの成果を利用したクラスター化法の許容性に関する結果をTakeuchi,Yadohisa and Inada(1999)で提案している.
本年度は新たにクラスター化の結果の"structure"に着目した指標をTakeuchi,Yadohisa and Inada(2000)で公表した.これらの結果はクラスター化法及びその解析結果を数理的に特徴付けるためのものであり,客観的なクラスター化法の選択や解析結果の解釈に寄与するものと考えている.
主目的としていた"非対称"なデータへの適用については,宿久(2000):非対称凝縮型階層的クラスター化法のための拡張更新式,第14回日本計算機統計学会シンポジュウム論文集,60-63.として公表しており,今後,論文としてまとめる予定ある.
加えて,本年度はこれらの成果を実際に利用するためのソフトの構築の準備として,[1]DLLによる実装,[2]WWWを利用した公開に関する研究も行った.[1]については,A.Takeuchi,H.Yadohisa,K.Yamaguchi and Ch.Asano(2000),A.Takeuchi,H.Yadohisa,K.Yamaguchi,M.Watanabe and Ch.Asano(2000),竹内,宿久,稲田(2001)として,[2]については,T.Inoue,Y.Asahi,Y.Yamamoto and H.Yadohisa(2000),K.Suenaga,H.Yadohisa,N.Sakurai,K.Yamaguch,M.Watanabe and Ch.Asano(2000)として公表した.
