Research Abstract

本研究では語義の曖昧さを高精度で解消する手法と解消結果の有効性を示すために解消結果を情報検索の分野に適用した.具体的には複数文書の要約に関する提案を行なった.本研究でアピールする点,特に関連する研究との差異に注目した特徴は以下の通りである.
・教師あり学習を用いた多義解消では,解消に必要な属性を組み合わせて学習を行う方法が多く提案されている.しかし,属性数が多くなると過学習の問題が生じる.本研究では,単語が持つ意味ごとに最適な属性を選択する手法を提案した(論文1参照)
・従来より提案されている複数文書の自動要約の研究は,(a)単一文書の要約手法を複数文書要約に適用したもの,(b)シソーラスなどの意味情報を用いたものがある.(a)は精度面,(b)は対象範囲が限定されてしまうの問題が指摘されている.本研究ではこの問題に対処するため,単一文書の個々が述べる主題と,複数文書全体の背景に注目し.主題と背景を抽出することで文書の要約を行う手法を提案した(論文2,3参照).
