Research Abstract |
The main purpose of this study is to present a relative evaluation method of "Loose-Surface" in walking. The outline of part 1 is as follows ; The first, sensory tests were carried out to make psychological scales of sideward and vertical displacement of "Loose-Surface" dealing with 12 samples and 16 male and female panels. The second, we developed the apparatus for measuring the displacement based on the human walking analysis. Finally, from the relation between the displacement and psychological scales, we obtained the most suitable condition to measure the displacement. The outline of part 2 is as follows ; The first, sensory tests were carried out to make psychological scales of slipperiness, hardness, stability of footing and suitability for walking of "Loose-Surface". Then it was cleared that psychological scales did not correspond to the physical values for "Fixed-Surface" detected by apparatus developed by author in former researches. The second, it was investigated that psychological scales corresponded to displacements of "Loose-Surface" detected by apparatus presented in part 1. Finally, the relative evaluation method of suitability for walking of "Loose-Surface" was presented based on the relationship of psychological scales and physical values. The outline of part 3 is as follows : The first, sensory tests were carried out to make psychological scales of suitability, fatigue and effect to keep the physical fitness in walking on "Loose-Surface". And it was cleared that there were intimate relations among these psychological scales. The second, biomechanical and physiological parameters in walking were investigated by means of force plate, electromyogram and heart rate monitor. As a result, it was cleared that "Loose-Surface" was not suitable for walking and was fatigable, but it was effective to keep the physical fitness. Also it will be careful to use "Loose-Surface" for physically handicapped.
