Research Abstract

本研究の目的は,超音波法を用いて筋収縮時の筋束の移動の様子を明らかにすることから,関節運動中の筋線維長変化を見る事である.これまでの研究結果により,膝関節角度変化に伴う筋束長の変化の様子を定量することが出来た.その結果,等速性脚伸展動作(一定速度で膝関節を伸展させる)中に筋線維の短縮速度は著しく変化することが観察された.本年度は足関節底屈背屈中の腓腹筋(内側頭)の筋線維の力-速度関係を明らかにした.その結果,関節の角速度-関節トルク関係から推定される筋線維の短縮速度よりも実際の短縮速度は高い傾向が示された.この事は,関節の角速度変化が必ずしも筋線維の短縮速度を示すものではないことを示している.さらに,関節角速度と筋線維短縮速度との間には発揮筋力の影響が強いことが示された.つまり,高い筋力発揮時には腱組織が伸長されその結果,筋線維の短縮量が多く,短縮速度が高くなる事が考えられた.この結果は,これまで一般に考えられていた関節の動きから筋線維の動態を推定する手法に問題点が多い事を示すものである.
