Research Abstract

本年度は、前年度までに構築したナノ構造の解析システムをスーパーコンピュータ上で並列化し、計算プロセスの高速化を図った。システムでは、指定したナノ構造の分光立体角反射率を高精度電磁界シミュレーションにより計算し、その反射率に基づいてナノ構造の発色を可視化している。しかし、微細かつ複雑なナノ構造を扱う場合、通常の計算機では、分光立体角反射率の解析に数日を要してしまう。そこで本研究では、京都大学のスーパーコンピュータCRAY XE6を用いて、本システムの並列化を行った。この成果により、前年度まで数日を要していた解析が数分で行えるまでに計算時間は改善された。
また、前年度までの研究から素子の反射色と視野角に強い依存関係から構造の最適化プロセスに困難が生じていたため、本年度はナノ構造の微調整によって発色特性を最適化するプロセスを改め、理想の特性から構造を発見する高精細な逆解析法を開発した。逆解析は、位置や形状が不明な物体に電磁波を当て、反射波の計測結果から元の物体を計算上で復元する手法である。しかし、従来の逆解析法は解像度が低く、構造設計に応用することができない。本研究では、多信号の千渉を利用して逆解析の解像度を改善することに成功した。この研究成果によって逆解析の解像度が飛躍的に向上したため、逆解析法を構造設計に応用することが可能となった。また、開発した逆解析法は、電磁波による非破壊の診断が可能であり、医療分野における腫瘍検知や地球科学や地震学における地中探査にも応用が期待できる。
