Research Abstract

本研究では,磁性ナノ微粒子を含む磁気機能性流体の流れのメカニズムを解明することを目的として,新しい乱流抵抗低減法の確立を目指している.同時に,磁場環境下における磁気機能性流体の熱流動メカニズムについて調査を行っている.
1.遷移域における磁性流体の流れのメカニズムの解明:遷移域における磁性流体の管内圧力損失の計測を行った結果,磁場印加によりレイノルズ数が約2200において,圧力損失が30.2%低減し,磁場印加による乱流抵抗低減が確認された.また,磁場強度の増加に伴い,乱流遷移域は高レイノルズ数側へ遷移することが確認できた.
2.乱流域における磁気粘弾性流体の流れのメカニズムの解明:粘弾性流体に磁性ナノ微粒子を添加し,外部磁場を印加することで磁気粘弾性流体の流動を含む能動的に制御した新しい乱流抵抗低減法の確立を目指している.本年度は,磁性ナノ微粒子を磁気粘弾性流体の動的レオロジー計測を行うため,高磁場印加型レオメータを新たに試作し,本流体の動的レオロジー計測を行った.その結果,磁場下において貯蔵弾性率(弾性的性質)が増加し,新しい乱流抵抗低減法の可能性を見出した.同時に,四要素モデルに基づく理論解析を行い,磁性体が高分子構造に影響を与えることで貯蔵弾性率が増加することを明らかにした.
3.磁気機能性流体の熱流動メカニズムの解明:外部磁場下では,磁気機能性流体に磁気体積力が作用し,流体が沸騰した場合,非磁性の気相に磁気浮力が作用し,管内は乱流状態になる.本年度は,実験的アプローチにより外部磁場の印加により単相流および二相流において磁気機能性流体の熱輸送能力が飛躍的に向上することが分かった.また,Hybrid LBMを用いた解析的アプローチにより,単相流において,磁場印加により循環流が形成されること,また気液二相流では磁気排除効果に起因して沸騰が促進されることを明らかにした。
