Research Abstract

室温～人間の体温付近で低温ゾル―高温ゲルの相挙動を示す温度可逆性イオンゲルを実現、速報誌に発表した。さらに温度のみならず、光に応じてイオン液体中で相溶性を大きく変化させる高分子を両末端に有するトリブロック共重合体を合成し光可逆的にイオン液体をゾル―ゲル転移させるソフトマターを見いだした。時間構造化するブロック共重合体に関して自律的にベシクルの形成―崩壊を繰り返す全く新しい高分子構造体の合成に成功した。生体内で頻繁に観測される自律的なベシクル形成―崩壊現象を合成高分子のみで実現した画期的な成果であり、現在、論文投稿準備中である。プロトン性イオン液体を利用した化学振動反応に関してはプロトン性イオン液体型構造を持つ高分子をプロトンソースとしたBZ反応を実現することができた。今後、化学振動反応のトランスデューサーをランダム共重合させた三元系の高分子を利用することで酸や酸化剤を添加することなく機能を発揮する、より自律性の高いイオン液体―高分子コンポジットを構築していく。成果の公表状況としては査読付き論文6報、著書3報、学会発表4件(うち3件が依頼講演)などにまとまった。特にイオン液体中の刺激応答性高分子に関する総合論文をまとめたこと(受理済み、印刷中)は、最終年度で刺激応答性高分子科学全体の中で本研究の位置づけを、俯瞰する点において意義深い。この他にも室温付近で低温ゾル―高温ゲル化する新しい温度可逆性イオンゲルや温度刺激に応じて水とイオン液体の界面を可逆的に行き来し、かつ両相で機能を発揮する機能性ナノゲルに関する研究成果を速報にまとめた。さらには本研究で得られた自励振動高分子と超分子やイオン液体との複合化に関する展望論文を公表した。
