Research Abstract

ニュートリノの質量の起源とニュートリノのフレーバー振動を説明するアイデアとして非常に有力なシーソー機構を超対称化した場合、荷電レプトンセクターにおいても同様にフレーバー間の遷移の事象が予言される。また、シーソー機構を内包する超対称大統一模型において、ニュートリノセクターのフレーバーの破れがハドロンセクターのフレーバーの破れに寄与しうる。山口と久野はこのことに関連し、次のような研究を行った。
山口は、これらの事象を矛盾なく説明するフレーバー模型を超対称理論の枠組みの中で構成した。これは、デモクラティック質量行列のアイデアに基づくものである。久野は、最近B->Phi Ks課程のCP非対称性において標準模型からのずれが報告されたことに関連する研究を行った。すなわち、超対称模型において右巻きスクォークがフレーバー混合を持つ場合このずれを説明できるが、我々は水銀の異常電気能率からの制限によりその効果に対し制限をつけた。また超対称標準模型におけるタウのフレーバー非保存過程壷考察した。第3世代のスクォークの性質をLHCで測定できることを示した。
また、諸井は今年度標準模型を超える物理と宇宙物理の関連について、特に宇宙背景放射との関連に着目しつつ研究を行った。中でも特に、インフレーションを起こすスカラー場以外の場が宇宙初期に大きな振幅と揺らぎとを持つ場合について考察し、その場合宇宙背景放射の揺らぎに、特徴的なシグナルが現れ得ることを指摘した。
山田は、クォークセクターのフレーバーを破る過程に関連した研究として、超対称理論の高次量子補正の精密な評価に関する研究を行った。
