Research Abstract |
G protein diseases have taught us a great deal about how G proteins work. By taking advantage of the notion and model we proposed (Nature, 394 : 35-39, 1998), we demonstrated the followings. (1) Clarification of the mechanism of a new PHP-Ia mutant, αs-AVDT, (2) We extended the model of receptor-dependent motivation of G proteins. (3) Design of dominant positive/negative G protein α submits. (4) We made simple method of tranfection using DEAE adenovirus.
