Research Abstract |
The main objective of his research project was to find out the mutual influence of vanous factors affecting the Japanese language acquisition, maintenance/loss of the first language for those school childien in the Japanese school system. In older to investigate such factois in the children's school envirorment, the data collection thiough video-taping and tape-recording were conducted in two middle schools and three elementary schools. The interviews and questionnaires were conducted among the teachers in older to supplement the lecoided data. The data and the result of the analysis were finalized in the foim of a booklet.
