Research Abstract |
The result of questionnaire to the users of long-term care insurance shows that the contents and the way of use on care system is not well known and this situation causes unsatisfaction or complaint of users. Through the case study of Kyoto city coucil of social welfare small community activities such as the delivery of leaflet or the visit to the elderly are effective to promote the practical use of care service on a base of contract. The result of questionnaire to municipalities in Osaka shows that the attitudes toward improvement or communication on care system are concerned with situation of practical use. According to the reports the elderly completed by municipalities the more the elderly get aged, the less the elderly get information through mass media such as municipal publicity. And the elderly without family tend to get information at clinic or care manager. The plan of transmission and collection about care service information under the consideration to the age or family member is required.
