Research Abstract |
Our concern is to examine Trends and Issues of school music in transition. We Focused on primary school teachers and music teachers of junior high school, and made a questionnaire survey. We examined four subjects ; devicesof music curricula and instructions, educational problems on Japanese traditional music, relationships between music and the integrated learning, and evaluation. Further, based on observation and interview, an important finding of this study is that a great deal of effort is being made with regard to the practice in music classes by reform-minded teachers.
