Research Abstract |
Haniwa clay figures spread from Kinai or Tokai Tyubu districts to Kanto district in the 4th century middle time. The possibility of the haniwa clay figures that it has spread in about the 4th century end is high. It considers that each head of Kanto district had relations with more than one head of Kinai to each of the backgrounds. But such complex relations are finished 5th century at first. The haniwa clay figures which a fixed from turned to after that spreads widely. It considers that there were spread to the whole country of the former term Yamato administration and stability in this background. After that, haniwa clay figures comes to be seen remarkably. There is spread of the human-shaped haniwa clay figures wich is new by 5th century after the latter half. It faces in Saitama Prefecture though the spread is received directly from Kinai, and human-shaped haniwa clay figures is being made with the traditional technique in Gunma Prefecture. This two power shows a big influence in the circumference area until the middle time of the 6th century. But, it reaches that it has the influence that Gunma Prefecture projected in about the end of the 6th century. It considers that a head in Gunma Prefecture had relations deeply to this background with some extreme power heads in Yamato administration.
