Research Abstract	The purpose of this work is to prepare a new text of "the Chinese old tales" (Gu-xiaoshuo gou-chen, a part of Supernatural ) which Lu-xun has collected from many encyclopedias and others. I have reread and reviewed those books by tes better texts (for example, the encyclopedias of Tang and Sung dynasties, Beitang-shuchao, Yiwen-leiju, Chuxueji, Taiping-yulan, Taiping- guangji etc. and others of later dynasties) ,and decided a more correct text of each tale. I think that I could present an enlarged and revised edition of "the Chinese old tales" for the study of the old tales in Six Dynasties.
