Research Abstract |
By IPP, new energy sources, etc., it is thought that the stabilization based on generators plays an important rote for the security and the reliability of power systems. This project starts from the problem of AVR limiter with a strong nonlinearity, and first the proposed method has the characteristics: (a) The control input can be chosen to put the unstable equilibrium point as far as possible from the stabje one, or to eliminate it, (b) It is easy to consider the nonlinearity of generator, and the limiter of AVR. The result of this project can be summarized as follows: (1) In the case of operation with overload, the nonlinear control based on the equilibrium point analysis is more effective than PSS. (2) Under the situation regarded as a hybrid system, it is simple to find feedback gains of the control input. (3) For the standard one-machine model system, 12th nonlinear simultaneous differential equations can be derived, and the critical clearing time and the active power limit are improved under the condition with AVR and without any linearization.
