Research Abstract |
In chronic hepatitis C (CH-C) patients, the ratio of CXC chemokine receptor 3 (CXCR3) positive peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) increased during the exacerbation of the hepatitis. In some interferon (IFN)-alpha treated CH-C, the ratio of CXCR3 positive PBMC also increased during the IFN treatment. The expression of heparanase in the hepatic tissues as well as in the PBMC is under investigation. The expression of chemokine receptors and heparanase (CCR1〜10、CXCR1〜4) in 6 cell lines derived from human hepatoma(HuH-7, PLC/PRF/5, HepG2, Hep3B, HLE, HLF) and Chang liver cell were examined by Taq Man PCR. The mRNA expression of 4 chemokine receptors (CCR6, CCR11, CXCR4, CXCR11) increased in several of the hepatoma cell lines, and the mRNA expression of heparanase increased in all hepatoma cell lines except for HepG2.
