Research Abstract |
Lavoratory Researches; Two researchs were completed as pre-clinical and fundamental preparation. (1) The objectives of this research was to determine tissue heterogeneity specifically with regard to differences in the regional distribution of pCOL-II-C and typeII collagen as a makers of cartilaginous matrix properties in the TMJ Disc (Kondoh T, et al. 2003 Arch Oral Biol 48, 621-625). (2)Diagnostic ability and accuracy of newly developed thin diameter rod-rens arthroscope was determined by experimenatal model for osteoarthritis of rabbit knee joint (Goto M, Kondoh T, et al. 2004 Jpn.J Oral Maxillofac Surg 50, 165-174. Clinical Researches ; Three researchs were completed as clinical use for the patients of temporomandibular joint diseases. (1)Arthroscopic findings were compared to clinical symptoms and imaging findings of the patients with internal derangement or osteoarthritis in superior compartment of the TMJ by the newly developed thin diameter arthroscope system (Kondoh T, et al. 2003 Oral Surg Oral Med Oral Pathol 95, 554-55 1., Hamada Y, Kondoh T, et al. 2003 Oral Surg Oral Med Oral Pathol 95, 552-558., Hamada Y, Kondoh T, et al. 2003 J Oral Maxilofac Surg 61, 437-441.).
