Research Abstract |
1.The object of this research is to make clear the areal system and the areal characteristics of Manchurian area in the first half of the 20th century, especially based on the flows of Chinese immigrants from mainland china to Manchurian area. 2.The beginning of the flow to Manchurian area was just before the 20th century for the purpose of reserve against the invation by Russian power to Manchurian area. This policy was decided under the Qing Dynasty. 3.Just after 1911, newly established Republic China was not unstable. Shandong area was also under the very severe condition occured by military cliques. Many farmers tost their lives base and moved to near Manchurian area as seasonal workers. 4.The peak of immigrant to Manchurian area was 1920s. Many of them were seasonal workers. In this process, a part of farmers begun to settle by exploiting forest and grass zones. 5.Basic areal system in Manchurian area was very simple by only networking between some urban centers and rural areas
