Research Abstract

In order to identify the effects of educational investments for girls in the Non-formal schools in Pakistan, we conducted interview toward girls, mothers and female teachers in non-formal school in Lahore and Islamabad. The results were as follows ;
(1) Girls' literacy among illiterate family can positively change the status of the girls.
(2) Girls' knowledge and skills in improvement of home and community life can positively change the status of girls, along with improvement of living conditions.
(3) Thus the educational investment for girls can be visible to let the society to understand the merit of educational opportunities for girls.
