Research Abstract |
The purpose of the study is to establish a basic model of innovation process concerning with environmental problem, and to compare the model with Finnish model. In order to approaching to this goal of study, firstly we establish a basic product innovation process model based on the fusion concept. Secondly we clarify the environmental problem in manufacturing company, and examine the relationship between the noticed environmental problem with product development process. Thirdly we compare the proposed model with the Finnish model by the collaborate research of Japanese and Finnish researchers. Finally this basic model is applied to the international product development system in order to disclose the characteristics of process in every country. As a result of this research we obtained the followings : (1) We establish a basic model of product innovation by collaborate research with Finnish researchers. (2) We investigate Japanese management technology, and the power of competitiveness against foreign countries. (3) We disclose the environmental problem to be solved by Japanese and Finnish companies, thus examine the effect of it to the product design and production process. (4) We discuss the management technologies to the environmental problem in manufacturing countries. (5) By several investigation to Japanese and Finnish companies we compare the situation and product strategy, then we discuss the cause and managerial policy of both countries.
