Research Abstract

BY CONJUGATING CHARCOAL POWDER PROCESSED AT HIGH TEMPERATURE (HTCP) AS A PIVOTAL
MATERIAL WITH SODIUM ALGINATE (SA) AS AN ADHENSIVE, AND WASTE DRIED RUSH, DISTILLERY WASTE SHOCHU AS A BINDER, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (TO) PHOTOCATALYST, A PROTPTYPE OF HTCP SHEET OR BOARD WAS CONSTRUCTED. LIT IS IMPORTANT TO ALIGN HTCP PARTICLE DIAMETERS IN SINTERING BOARDS, AND BOTH SAAND STARCH WERE ADEQUATE ENOUGH. 2. HTCP RANGING FROM 0.1mm TO 5mm WAS AVAILABLE TO FORM SHEET, AND DRIED RUSH AND BARK COATS WERE EFFECTIVE AS FIBER ELEMENT. 3. IN CONSTRUCTING A PROTOTYPE OF PHOTOCATALYST SUPPORTING BOARDS AND SHEET, A METHOD TO DO SINTERING BY SUPERPOSING PHOTOCATALYST LAYERS WERE DEVELOPED. WITH SOL OR SLURRY WHICH WAS SINTERED FOR 1 HOUR AT 200ーC ADSORPTION AND PHOTO-RESOLUTION OF ETHYLENE GASES (EG) WAS IMPROVED 20% TO 40%.
HOWEVER, THE SHEETS BECAME FRAGILE, AND NONE OF TENSIL STRENGTH WAS OBTAINED. 4.A SHEET OR BOARD TO WHICH PHOTOCATALYSIS OF NORMAL-TEMPERATURE DRY TYPE WAS APPLIED, SATURATION IN PHOTO-RESOLUTION OF EG WAS REACHED IN 1 OR 2 HOURS. THUS IT IS EXPLAINED THAT THE MATERIAL WAS MORE EXCELLENT IN PHOTO-RESOLUTION OF EG THAN IN CONTROL.
DECOMPOSITION OF THE TO POWDER SUPPORTING BOARD WAS MOST EXCELLENT. 5. AN IMPROVED PHOTOCATALYSIS SYNTHESIZED WITH A HYDROXYAPPATITE WAS APPLIED TO HTCP SHEET AND BOARD TO PREVENT FROM THE PHOTO-DECOMPOSITIN OF THE ORGANIC BINDER, BUT ADSORPTION AND PHOTO-RESOLUTION OF EG WAS LOW.
