Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、低価格、高効率な色素増感太陽電池を作製するために(1) 化学溶液法による酸化亜鉛ナノ粒子合成時に溶液に有機被膜剤を添加し、濃度、熱処理温度、熱処理時間がナノ結晶の形状、サイズ、構造、吸収光特性、発光特性、電子状態等に及ぼす効果を明らかにすること、(2) 酸化亜鉛ナノ結晶を用いて光半導体電極を形成し、色素増感太陽電池の光電変換効率の向上を図ることを目的とした。有機被膜剤としてヘキサメチレンテトラアミン、Nメチルアニリンとピリジンを用いた。ヘキサメチレンテトラアミン濃度や熱処理温度が酸化亜鉛ナノ結晶の形状、サイズ、構造、発光特性、電子状態や色素増感太陽電池特性に及ぼす効果を調べた結果、有粒子の凝縮が抑制されることや、濃度が0.05 Mの場合に無添加と比べ約15倍光電変換効率が高くなることが示された。有機被膜剤としてNメチルアニリンを用い、熱処理温度が酸化亜鉛ナノ結晶の特性と色素増感太陽電池特性に及ぼす効果を調べた結果、熱処理温度により、球状からナノロッド構造に変化することが示された。また、275度で熱処理した試料の光電変換効率は150度、475度で熱処理した試料の値よりも高くなった。ピリジンを用いた場合、平均長さが 200 nmのナノロッド構造が得られた。ピリジン濃度が0.3モルの場合、バンド端遷移に起因する発光が強くなった。以上の結果は、有機皮膜剤の濃度や熱処理温度が酸化亜鉛ナノ結晶の結晶性や色素増感太陽電池特性に大きな影響をもたらすことを示している。因する発光が強くなった。以上の結果は、有機皮膜剤の濃度や熱処理温度が酸化亜鉛ナノ結晶の結晶性や色素増感太陽電池特性に大きな影響をもたらすことを示している。
