Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は匂いによって人を探知する匂いセンサ(e-nose)技術の確立を目指し, 検知対象ガスを効率よく分離できる分子フィルタと安定なガス検知部を組み合わせた実用性能を確保したセンシングシステムを構築する。このために, 1) 匂い分子フィルタの開発, 2) センサアレイ型e-noseセンサシステムの構築, 3) 多変量センサ出力により人を検知・識別するソフトウェアの3点について研究開発を行った。最終年度は本研究の目的である匂いによる人の検知の基礎研究として, ガスクロマトグラフィの体臭を計測・分析し, カーネル主成分分析法によって体臭による人の検知・識別が可能であることを確認した. 続いて, 匂い分子フィルタ吸着剤を組み込んだマルチチャネル匂い吸着分離センサシステム, 及び匂い分子を認識できる分子鋳型ポリマ膜を塗布した水晶振動子式ガスセンサアレイによって体臭の構成成分である匂い物質を測定し, データフュージョン法, 主成分分析, 回帰分析, サポートベクターマシンなどによって解析を行った。その結果, 混合された匂い識別と濃度推定が可能であることが分かった. データ解析技術の探索ではセンサアレイe-noseモデルとして表面弾性波センサによりe-noseシステムに最適な解析方法を探索した. 以上の研究成果をIEEE ISSNIP, APCOT, IUMRS-ICAなどの国際学会で口頭発表するとともにプロシーディング論文を発表, および国際論文誌Sensors and Actuatorsなどで研究論文として発表した.
